Our ‘Safe Haven’ Health & Safety Programme

The Four Seasons Hotel, Spa & Leisure Club Carlingford, is temporarily closed for the health of our guests, employees and local community. In line with the guidance provided by the World Health Organisation, the Health Service Executive and Government, we will be enhancing our Health, Safety and Hygiene procedures during these unparalleled times.

The Management and Staff of the Four Seasons Hotel, Spa & Leisure Club Carlingford are dedicated to making your experience with us as safe yet relaxing and comfortable as possible, in advance of our planned opening date of 8th July we have amended our protocols to ensure the safety of all visitors and employees. We will closely monitor and update our protocols and procedures and we update them as advised.

We look forward to welcoming both new and returning guests back once the doors reopen, but in the meantime feel free to purchase a gift voucher to avail of when the time comes or check out some of our special offers available in 2020.

Physical Distancing

Visitors to the hotel will be advised to social distance themselves apart from other groups that are not travelling with them. This will apply to moving around the hotel, using the elevator and standing in queues.

Restaurants and Bars

Where possible, layouts of areas throughout the hotel will be adjusted to adhere to physical distancing guidelines. Tables will be restricted to relevant Government guidelines.

Signage

There will be health, safety and hygiene reminders throughout the property.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

All employees will be provided with the relevant PPE which must be worn in accordance with their job role and responsibilities. Cotton masks will be provided for employees where social distancing is not feasible within their job role and rubber gloves will be provided for all front of house staff with direct contact to visitors.

Training

All employees will receive further mandatory health, safety and hygiene training, inclusive of how to correctly dispose of their PPE.

Cleaning Procedures

We use high grade disinfectant cleaning products throughout the property to ensure we meet the expected practices of the World Health Organisation, the Health Service Executive and Government. Employees using these products are supplied with the appropriate PPE and training.

Handwashing and Sanitising

Communal hand sanitiser dispensers will be placed at all guest and employee entrances/exists, along with further dispensers at all ‘contact areas’ (i.e., Reception Desk, Private Suites entrances, Bars & Restaurant entrances, 4Fit Leisure Club, etc) All employees will wash their hands at regular intervals with antibacterial soap, for the recommended 20 seconds and will use antibacterial cleaning products when using shared equipment.

Where possible we will try to increase the fresh natural air flow through the property
